Last year was a huge success and we really enjoyed seeing all our families, dogs and most of all our former orphans who have found their forever homes! This year we are hoping everyone can join us for an afternoon filled with FOOD, GAMES, RAFFLES, DEMONSTRATIONS, and wall-to-wall HAPPY, SMILING, ENERGETIC, and LOVED GSP’s! All humans and dog friendly dogs of other breeds are very welcome!

Since 2005 we have been able to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome approximately 150 wonderful dogs. We are only able to continue this important work with the help of our volunteers, adopters and donors. Your support is invaluable and profoundly appreciated. Please join us on June 8th when we honor our families, our volunteers and our wonderful breed.

Why we want you to attend our Reunion …

When you attend our Homecoming Reunion, not only will you be happy and have a blast, but our volunteers get a HUGE motivational boost when they see the GSPs they helped rescue doing so well! For food planning purposes, please RSVP to ilgsprescue@aol.com . Let us know how many humans and dogs plan to celebrate with us on June 8, 2008.

What to bring:

Your dog/crowd-friendly dog (on a leash, no retractable leashes please!)
Water and bowl for your dog (water from home is always the best!)
If required, a crate for a little R&R
Your camera – fun & frolic moments to capture and enjoy fur years to come!
Pick-up bags for doggie clean-up!
Spare change to donate to ISR!
Extra Frontline, Heartguard, Interceptor to donate to ISR!

Save the Date! Through the year with ISR

2008 is shaping up to be a banner year for ISR, and we'd like to share our plans with all our wonderful volunteers and other interested friends. Add these dates to your calendar and watch for more information.

Second Annual ISR Reunion: Sunday, June 8, 12 noon, 4 p.m. at BC Dog Training. This special day brings together all the wonderful GSPs we've rescued over the years. Dogs and their people will enjoy games, food, raffles, vendors, demos, and more. Earlier in the day (around 10 a.m.), we'll offer the CGC/TDI test.

Second Annual Festivus for the Rescue Us: Sunday, November 7, 12 noon, 4 p.m. at B.C. Dog Training. Get your dogs ready for their annual picture with Santa, and also enjoy food, raffles, vendors, and some good holiday cheer!
